• Protect and grow the agency’s relationships with its current client base as represented by growth of the relationship (both financial and health)
• Support the Vice President in achieving revenue targets
• Maintain each clients respect and confidence as a trusted advisor and confidant offering an open ear, sound judgment, proven business acumen and a range of relevant approaches to various issues and opportunities
• Remain in touch with the agency’s day-to-day business on behalf of clients – knowledgeable and conversant in their capabilities, and the projects assigned to the agency as well as other agency partners
• Effectively and confidently balance the dual expectations and business goals of the client and agency as well as the expectations of multiple clients and agency teams
• Contribute to development, and oversee implementation of an annual Client Development Plan, updated at mid-year, for each client
• Contribute to the efforts to develop and articulate key POV – internally & externally – relative to strategic/creative alternatives, client industries and issues
• Identify and escalate specific opportunities for growth
• Drive day-to-day resources on RFI’s and RFP’s, etc.
Specific Requirements
• 10-12 years of solid client engagement experience.
• Experience in an Advertising Agency a must
• Thorough knowledge of the market and trends and how this relates to our clients.
• Extensive experience leading RFIs/RFPs
• Outstanding and persuasive client-facing and relationship management skills
• Expert knowledge of all agency functional areas; including production, media, research and database management skills
• Superior verbal and written communication skills; Superior presentation skills
• Extensive partnering skills with demonstrated legacy of building and growing accounts
• Demonstrated understanding of Client’s goals and the subsequent development plans.
• Proven business development experience.
• Extensive experience of reaching and exceeding revenue goals.
